The Underground Council

When Vydden Darkblade Leighton took over power of The Underground, at first he ran it as a dictatorship. After he was aged, Vydden's heart grew kinder and he felt a desire to develop a new vampire council. A charter was drafted, but before it was signed, Phaedra crashed the event and created instead a massacre.

After the defeat of Phaedra by Jeremy Holdyn a new vampire council was chosen and the revised charter was finally signed by all members just a few days before Vydden was to be wed to Peace Mayward Leighton.

The Underground was then ruled by this governing council with representative heads from the vampire clans except Ravnos and Malkavian, as there were currently no suitable leaders.

Vydden still served as figurehead of The Underground and is in full control of the security of the place, as well as retaining veto rights, should any legislation pass he disapproves of.

Erin Holdyn Draculean

When Amon Crowe and Qale Hydyl took over the Underground, the Council was abolished. Issac was slain as was Arthur and Janne. Clive has since fled Rhydin after being under attack for his crimes against Trix. Lester remains in the Underground as does Leander after a period of time he was shunned. Erin does as she pleases, but does not hold any official authority in the Underground.
